A word from the Jebs!
Aloha!
Well right now all of us here at Team Jeb are more excited than Rebecca Black on a Ground Hog Friday! Kosciuszko hits shelves, both physical and virtual in just a few days, (Friday to be exact!) after a gestation period that began many years ago. We just got back from a weekend spent in the wilderness at Glenworth Valley in N.S.W where we got dressed up, ate lots of chips and dips and filmed the video for the next single. On our return the good people at Triple J decided to feature our album and then we announced a whole heap more regional dates to our Kosciuszko tour, which now spans from May through to July! If we were Charlie Sheen right now you could say we were winning! So afer completing our (almost) capital city run, we will start all over again, hitting up North QLD, NSW, WA and Tasmania right through til the end of July. As it stands we have nothing planned for that last weekend of July.....hmmm....will have to do something about that....
As always please stay tuned for more tour announcements, particularly if you live in a region of Australia we are yet to announce a show for. We are getting in the mood now so who knows where we will book a show next! I swear, we are feeling crazier than a rug and carpet salesman right now!!!
Another little tidbit, (what an odd word) that we would like to draw your attention to is a short documentary that has been put together and will be available for your viewing pleasure live and exclusive to Ping, which we believe has something to do with iTunes....it aint gonna be shown on Channel 9 anyway...This documentary is an inspirational journey that follows the band through the good times, the unreleased rap albums and the hiatus as well as a sneaky peak inside the studio whilst making Kosciuszko.
On Thursday afternoon, the day before release, we will be performing a guerrilla gig for Channel V somewhere in Sydney.
On Friday, (Friday, gotta get down on Friday) we shall be celebrating release day the only way we know how, that is with very little sleep and an early morning live television performance on Sunrise!
Finally, we would also like to extend our congratulations to Jonathon Miller who has won the dubious honour of having us play live for him and 100 of his mates at his house or a venue near his house or wherever the hell we end up playing we are not really sure yet. Thanks to everyone who got involved!
Cheers everyone! We hope you enjoy the record as much as we did making it and we can’t wait to see you all on the tour.
Love
Kev, Ness, Chris & Brett.
