Jebediah predicted by Nostradamus

An interesting snippet appeared in Sydney Morning Herald Opinion column this week!

''The NSW Blues winning the State of Origin was predicted by Nostradamus on page 169 in the Penguin abridged version, 1997,'' insists Darryl Tinney, of Innisfail, Queensland. '' 'When the Jebidiah warble [in this case, the band which played before the game] the lowly cockroaches will inherit the hallowed ground.' True!''

For those unfamiliar with NRL jargon...NSW are also known as the cockroaches and QLD are known as the canetoads and that's how they spelt Jebediah back in the day. See...he almost got it right!
